Consider your group discussion as a boxing or judo match, there’s punching and counter punching.

Punching

Is asking questions directly and getting direct answers.

Counter Punching

Is using the weight and the leverage of the what someone says to create momentum in the discussion.

Counter punch tactics

What do you think about what he/she just said? Do you agree or disagree?

What would you add to his/her comment?

What was the best part of what they shared?

Now, strap on your gloves or gi  and enter the fray.
