Good Day All!

I hope you had a great weekend and you’re ready for a productive week ahead. I, like you, have a busy week ahead. Today I have to ship out another Youth Ministry Playbook to a youth pastor who wants to have their best year in YM ever.

I work part time with an organization called First Priority who helps youth workers launch morning Bible Clubs in elementary, middle and high schools. We have a meeting today to do some strategizing.

Tonight, at 7:30, begins my first coaching round. I would appreciate your prayers as I help youth workers become all they God called them to be and to help them create youth ministries that honor God and impact their communities. There’s still time to jump in and you can cancel at any time.

I took a break from Grubhub last week to paint a house. I like the physicality of work and the sense of restoring something to value, and isn’t what God has done for us?

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. I Peter 5:10

This is my pray for those of you who may, like the Christians Peter was writing to, be going through a tough time.

May God restore (repair, make complete) you and make you strong, firm and steadfast as you minister to this generation.

Have a great week everyone!

Paul

Quotes

As disciples of Jesus, we are sent to where there is poverty, loneliness, suffering of any kind. We are given the courage to be with suffering people. We can trust by entering into places of pain, we will find the joy of Jesus. A new world grows out of compassion. – Henri Nouwen

When you remove meaningless words, the power of your words goes up. – Seth Godin

“Jesus calls us to his rest, and meekness is His method. The meek man cares not at all who is greater than he, for he has long ago decided that the esteem of the world is not worth the effort.” ― A. W. Tozer, Pursuit of God
