Welcome! If you’re new here and are not a subscriber, subscribe here and get the Youth Ministry Round Up in your inbox.

Hey All!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I have one more Youth Ministry Round up coming at you next week and it will be the Christmas edition and then I’ll take a break until the new year. To help new youth workers find this resource, I’d love if some of you (new or old to this list) would share a brief testimony about why you subscribed and maybe some of the benefits of being a subscriber. You can e-mail me at thedproject@me.com.

If you’re looking to grow in 2019 The Ministry Mind coaching group is now open. Whether you’re a volunteer who just needs to get a handle on things, a part time or bi-vocational youth worker who wants to take the next step or a full time youth pastor who wants to be in community and take your youth ministry to the next level, this is for you.

I don’t know what kind of year you had this past year, but what could 2019 look like if you had someone in your corner meeting with you twice a month to answers questions, help you plan and urge you on? By the way, you can unsubscribe from the coaching at any time and I am currently giving discounts the longer you subscribe.  So, why not give yourself  a six month window and see what happens.

Youth Pastors, if you’re waiting for staff meeting to tell you what your mission is, you don’t have one.

Finding your balance part 2

Great story of what it means to be faithful If you do not know, I live in the state of Alabama. Which means, we talk about football 24/7 365. ne of the best stories to come out this year was about a young man named Jalen Hurts who was benched in last years championship game in favor of Tua Tagovailoa. Jalen himself is a National Champion quarterback with the Crimson Tide. When Tua took over the quarterback spot this year, the talk was wether Jalen would transfer. He did not. He stuck it out. What you’re watching here is what happens when you stick it out, play your role and practice for your moment. Tua gets hurt and Jalen was ready for his moment. Video starts at 14;32.
