Youth Ministry and Haunted Houses in 100 Words Or Less

I don’t take my students to haunted houses because

  1. It causes too much commotion among hardliners.
  2.  I think it’s a waste of time.
  3. There is no value won in going and no value lost in not going.

Does it open people up for demonic activity? No any more than taking your kids to Starbucks opens them up to becoming addicted to caffeine.

There are lifestyle, emotional, and spiritual factors that go into whether a haunted house would open someone up to demonic activity.

Know your church culture and don’t die on  haunted hill.
