An Open Letter To My Blog

Dear Blog,

I hate you. I love you. I hate you. I love you.

I stare at you all the time but you confuse me.

I have no idea what to do with you most of the time.

I don’t want to write crap on you  so I don’t write any thing at all.

I know that’s wrong, because all my stuff may be crap, I just don’t know it.

I have to remember why you’re here. You’re here to serve, inspire, and train others and maybe sell some of my resources.

I just need some inspiration.

Amy Schmittauer has given me a 1,000 good ideas.

I have no idea how to monetize you. This sounds cheap and unsavory but I’d like you to “make me some money” (in a total Mr. Crabs, from Spongebob, kind of voice) . Don’t stare at me like that! I work hard too!

I have not been consistent as of late.

I did have a guest post request and I published it, but I don’t know how you feel about seeing other people. What? You’d like to see other people?! Fine.

Where do we go from here?

I guess we’ll stay together. But I warn you, I will cheat on you with YouTube and  Instgram.

Sorry, that’s just how I roll.

I’m sorry, and I promise to treat you better.

Your Friend,

Paul @paulturnertoo)

Your Turn

Who or what do you need to write and open letter to?

Write it out, but don’t publish it.

Blogger and feel the same way I do? Write your open letter to you blog and leave me a link in the comments.
