I just got back from a camp and I’m wore out. This was my last youth camp as a full time youth pastor. It was an amazing camp and I saw God move in the hearts of our kids. I heard kids pray out loud for the first time, a young man allowed God to touch his heart and came out of the darkness of loneliness, suicide and bullying, and a girl who had recently turned away from God said that worship made her “feel different”. Three kids also prayed out loud for the first time. Some took big steps. Some took baby steps. Either way, I see them all as steps moving forward.
Celebrate the little wins and give God the glory for small steps this summer.

Quotes
Overheard at camp – “That girl lies a lot. I mean, she’s a really good liar. I’m not trying to say anything bad about her, but she lies a lot.
