It’s Holy Week, a week of reflection. This morning I was reflecting on John 13:21-33, 36-38, the last supper. Jesus was talking and announced that one of the disciples would betray them. The only one quoted as having picked up on this was Peter, where he asks John to ask Jesus who it would be.
Jesus said, “It is the one whom I give this piece of bread”. Jesus dips the bread and handed it to Judas and says, “Go and do what you must do quickly.”
The disciples reaction, ‘No one knew why Jesus said this to him” The they thought Jesus as asking Judas to go shopping or to make a contribution to the poor. Yet more evidence that the disciples were teenagers and and not grown men.
There were 10 other disciples in the room. Were they talking with one another and missed the whole speech? Maybe. Either way they were clueless to what Jesus was saying.
Is this your teens? More importantly is this you? Are you missing what Jesus is saying in these difficult times?

What’s the “noise level” up to in your heart and mind?
This Holy Week, do your best to dial into Jesus. Listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit and hear wha the Spirit is saying about you, your life, God’s love for you and the peace you maybe searching for.
