Youth Ministry Round Up #15

Welcome! If you’re new here and are not a subscriber, subscribe here and get the Youth Ministry Round Up in your inbox.

Summer is almost over 🙁  and it’s time to get our “time for school” hats on. Although I am not a full time youth pastor, I will still be involved. I am heading over to the middle and high school this week to meet with teacher/sponsors for our First Priority Club.

I am booking dates to speak so be sure to visit my page to reserve your date

If you’re the moderator of a youth pastor network, could I ask you a favor? I’d love to be a part of your local network and introduce myself and the resources I offer to those in your community. Let me know if this is you and I can offer you and your group some freebies.

Anyone in Chattanooga? I will be in Chattanooga at the end of August and I am looking to do a Coffee Meetup (coffee on me of course). If this is you and we can set something up with some youth workers in Chattanooga, I’d love to get together.

That’s all for now, let me know how I can serve you!

If we pray only because we want answers, we will become irritated and angry with God. We receive an answer every time we pray, but it does not always come in the way we expect! We are not here to prove that God answers prayer, but to be living trophies of God’s grace. -OC

We tend to stay away from mourning and dancing. Too afraid to cry, too shy to dance…we become narrow-minded complainers, avoiding pain and also true human joy…While we live in a world subject to the evil one, we belong to God. Let us mourn, and let us dance.

Watch, freeze, write down stuff, do it.

I used this song in a recent message and it touched a few people.

Great song about who we are going to believe about who we are.

While speaking at camp I thought this was an appropriate topic (Livestream)

I have several resources in development, including a series called The Journey (based on the prodigal son) and Masterpiece (helping kids get back to who God made them to be) which will be out soon.
