I watched Christmas Vacation for the up-teenth time and it gets better every year. I still laugh out loud when Aunt Bethany say grace. She is obviously suffering from Alzheimer disease but when she starts to say the Pledge of Allegiance, I laugh out loud,
Clark Griswold just want to have the perfect Christmas. Through out the movie it’s one thing after another.
The lights wont work
The tree burns up
The turkey is destroyed.
Clark will not be denied. He will have the perfect Christmas if it kills him and it almost does.
News Flash: No one is having the “perfect” Christmas this year. Jesus was there at the first one and it wasn’t perfect either. He had no where to sleep, running from a mad man trying to kill him, and crazy travel plans.
Instead of trying to have the “perfect” Christmas. Look at all the crap you’re going though and write Jesus on it.
