Giving youth pastors the tools they need to make and shape disciples.

Why One-on-One Coaching Might Be the Breakthrough You’ve Been Praying For

If you’re a youth pastor right now, chances are high that you’re carrying more than most people realize.

You’re leading students who seem checked out. You’re trying to breathe life into a ministry with limited resources. You’re expected to cast vision, teach, lead volunteers, navigate church politics, and still be available for late-night texts from hurting teens.

Sound familiar?

In moments like that, what you need isn’t more noise. You don’t need more group calls, more content to sort through, or more people giving generic advice that doesn’t fit your reality.

You need clarity.
You need support.
You need someone who sees you.

I have been in a mastermind group of four people, I got one fourth of what I needed and if I wanted more, I had to pay for the extra time.

That’s where one-on-one coaching becomes both practical and valuable.

Let me be transparent, I offer one one coaching, and I’ve love to coach you, but even if you don’t choose me to coach you, these principals still apply.

Cohorts Have Their Place—But They’re Not Always the Answer

Cohorts are great for community, shared experiences, and bouncing ideas around with peers. But they have limitations:

  • You move at the pace of the group.
  • The advice isn’t tailored to your unique ministry.
  • Vulnerability is harder in a crowd.
  • Accountability often slips through the cracks.

If you’ve ever left a cohort call thinking, “That was good, but I’m still stuck,”—you’re not alone.

What Makes One-on-One Coaching Different?

Here’s why one-on-one coaching might be the most powerful next step for you as a youth pastor:

1. It’s Personalized

This isn’t group work. It’s your work. We dive into your exact context—your church, your students, your leadership challenges—and tailor a plan that actually fits.

2. You Move Faster

We don’t waste time. Coaching allows us to go deep quickly, skip what doesn’t apply, and zero in on what actually helps you move forward.

3. You Get Real Accountability

You’re not one of many voices on a call. You’re the focus. I’m in your corner every step of the way, and I’m not going to let you disappear or drift.

4. You Can Be Honest

There are things you’ll never say in a group—and that’s okay. Coaching gives you a safe space to be real about what’s actually happening in your ministry and your heart.

5. It Adapts to You

Ministry is unpredictable. One-on-one coaching is flexible enough to pivot with you. Whether you need sermon help, strategy planning, or just someone to help you process a tough conversation, I’m here.

Is It Worth It?

Let’s be real: one-on-one coaching is an investment. But it’s an investment in you—in your health, your leadership, your clarity, and your impact.

If you’ve lost your passion…
If you’re praying for breakthrough…
