This is Part 2 in my journey of praying the The Apostles Creed. You can read Part 1 HERE.

Maker of heaven and earth

To reflect on God as Maker, Creator is a joyful exercise. For a time I took pictures on Instagram reflecting how I saw God around me. Too much navel gazing gave me a sore neck; that’s why I thought it was important to look around for God, in nature, people, etc. and not just inwardly.

Here are a few of my pictures where I saw the Lord.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
 Psalm 95:6

Where do you see your Maker in the world?

In the heavens I see God …

On the earth I see God in …

Father, my Maker, my Creator, thank you for making me. Thank you for all that I see and all I encounter. In everything, let me see you. Let me see glimpses of your character and nature. Let everything point me back to You..
