Lent Day 1: Letters To The Exiled, Spiritual Nomads and the Lost
On this first day of Lent, I have chosen to not give up anything physical, rather, for the next 40 days I will give up my pride.
There are many who follow me on social media who do not know the Lord or have fallen away from because of hurts or sin and God has placed you on my heart because He loves you and and I, sadly, have never shared the gospel with you personally.
The devotions I’ll be sharing are for everyone but my prayer is that those who have been away from the Lord will return and those who have never met the Lord shall turn to him.
- These devotions are not judgements, they are love letters, confessing the Father’s love for you.
- These devotions are not for debate, although you are welcome to ask questions.
- These devotions are not to highlight my righteousness but our collective need for a Savior.
I am one beggar showing other beggars where to find bread.
If you are in need of prayer, to know the Lord or to recommit your life to the Lord, message me, I’d love to pray with you.
God loves you and desires you to know him.
A simple prayer:
God, I need you. I need a Savior. I have tried to save myself though works and have come up empty.
I accept your son Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins and I turn from sin, because I can’t hit the mark you called me to on my own.
Thank you for loving me, renew my heart, fill me with your Holy Spirit.
Knowing that Christ is in me, my desire is to leave my past behind and follow you in the newness of life.
Amen
