I had this in my head the other day and realized it’s a sound track. It’s what I hope people will see about me, some days, and act. I also have to remember that this song may be playing in someone else’s head as well and they need me to come dance with them, sing with them or just stand quietly with them.
And don’t worry, I have to plans of harming myself, but I wonder, for how many people, this was the last song that was playing in their head?
Couldn’t they see I was tired, lost, and alone.
Couldn’t they see I was I was on my last leg, the tank was empty
Couldn’t they see I was crushed to the bone
Couldn’t they see I was angry
Couldn’t they see I was broken
Couldn’t they see I was a zombie
Couldn’t they see I was chosen
Couldn’t they see I was ready
I needed you to tell me what to do
I needed you to show me the way
I needed you to stop talking
I needed you enter the fray
Couldn’t they see I was bathing in my failures
Couldn’t they see I was drowning in my sorrows
Couldn’t they see I needed a savior
Could they see their was no tomorrow
I needed you to tell me what to do
I need you to show me the way
I needed you to stop talking
I needed you enter the fray
