I have been doing these lists for a while now because I find that the perfect song at a graduation service is one more chance to inspire the student, the student’s family and the church as we send off those students who have meant so much to out ministry.
These songs can also make room for the Holy Spirit to speak to everyone as they watch the lives of students flash across our church’s screen one last time.
Not all of these songs may be appropriate for during your church service, but better for youth meeting, so be sure to listen to the whole song, read the lyrics and pray about which song will make the best statement to your students, families and congregation.
That’s Who I Praise – Brandon Lake
An energetic anthem that celebrates faith through the stories of biblical heroes. It topped the US Hot Christian Songs chart and is ideal for highlighting perseverance and praise in any season.
Somebody Prayed – Crowder (feat. Dylan Scott)
